Domains and Registrations
We use SA Domain for all our domain registrations and hosting but the choice is yours whom you want to use as they become your Service Providers and any questions relating to emails, domains and hosting goes through them.

Domain registration is the process of registering a domain name, which identifies one or more IP addresses with a name that is easier to remember and use in URLs to identify particular Web pages. The person or business that registers domain name is called the domain name registrant.

When you register a domain name, you are leasing it from the Internet Corporation for Names and Numbers (ICANN). ICANN provides domains via approved registrars. A domain does not do anything on its own. Registration provides you the right to “point” your domain wherever you want.

Domain Registration is a yearly payment. Should you not pay for the domain when your are invoiced then you will lose your domain and someone else can register it instead .. so one must be very careful with this regard. The domain is only yours once you have paid for it and keep paying for it.

The general rule is that a is for South Africa national companies.
